Recent Developments at DSC

We are delighted to announce that DSC has concluded an agreement for the ongoing production and sales of DSC products. The transaction is scheduled to close on June 1, 2025. We will provide further details in the coming months.

We will, in the interim, be continuing to produce and deliver our products. Please let us know, as soon as you can, of any products that you wish to receive during the months leading up to the transaction. (Products can be ordered online (as usual), at the links below.)

Addition of UHD Rec 2020 Simulation

Thank you for your feedback regarding the proposed replacement of the SD SMPTE C vectorscope simulation for the ChromaDuMonde charts with a UHD Rec 2020 vectorscope simulation.

We heard that there is interest in receiving the UHD REC 2020 vectorscope simulation. We also heard that a number of customers would like to retain the SD SMPTE C vectorscope simulation. In order to accommodate both sets of preferences, we will be adding UHD Rec. 2020 calibrations to the SD SMPTE C vectorscope simulation for the ChromaDuMonde.

The revised vectorscope simulations (which include both the SD and UHD calibrations in the right-hand side, as well as the 709 calibration on the left) will be as follows (we have used round bullets for the SD calibrations and square ones for the UHD 2020 values). In order to improve the usability of this tool, we have not included the flesh tone signals in SD and UHD vectorscope simulation.
